all blog posts
the image/ folder on the nomblog site
Here I keep images that I use on each page of the blog and
NOM
documentation site. I try to keep all the images about 600x600 so that they
will look ok when turned into a circular image via the [css] which is defined
in /site.blog.css
All the images are drawings or photos that I have done or taken.
Drawings of knots, doodles etc. In the /nomblog.header.txt file
there is a plain-text image in the format
<:o:1:cc:/image/random.jpg>
This image text format means
- :o: make the image cirular
- :1: resize the image as small (a number from 1-9)
- :cc: center align the image in the middle of the page
- /image/random.jpg - this is actually a pseudo image when gets
substituted with any random image from this /image/ folder
(excluding the /image/maths/ folder)
So every time a page is regenerated then a new random image is
inserted in the page.
